Traveling to the Least Visited Country in the World (Yes Theory video)

Yes Theory, the YouTubers that spent a few days in the Singapore Airport, is back with another great travel video. Consisting of three friends that met in Montreal (one of them being my roommate from McGill), made a new must-see video for a person who seeks discomfort (their moto and clothing line).

I’m a pretty adventurous traveller who’s been known to go off the beaten path. I spent a few days in Moldova in 2016, one of the least visited countries in the world.

Chisinau

I’ve also spent time in Albania, which I think will become the next Croatia in 10 years.

It looks like Thomas has one upped me in their latest video, Travelling to the Least Visited Country in the World, Tuvalu. In this video, Thomas hops on a flight to explore the country of 11,000.

Two things stand out here:

In small countries like this, you notice the same travellers and people throughout the country and therefore end up travelling with them. I love how Thomas starts playing soccer with a bunch of randoms and makes friends. There have been numerous times where I’ve met people and travelled with them for a few days, with memories lasting a lifetime, like the time I spent 12 hours playing cards on a rainy day with 4 Australians in a bar in San Sebastian, Spain.

The other thing that stood out to me was the communal mentality in Tuvalu, much like the remote Canadian North. I spent two summers living in the Northwest Territories and locals had a similar communal mentality, sharing food when they went out on the land.

Overall, another great video from Yes Theory and the boys.
